What brands do you recommend for shampoo that i can get at petsmart or petco? and flea products?

my little mini. poodle has fleas.





I bought zodiac, will return tomorrow because I guess people said the brand was bad. I might go to petsmart and petco tomorrow, but im not sure which brand of shampoo to buy. I had Scratchex before, from someone else who gave them to us, but I dont know where to get scratchex (where DO YOU?) because it wasnt online on either of the stores. So please suggest a brand and whyyy.





And I hear that Frontline and Advantage is the best. What other brands? And ... are the prices on Petco.com for advantage and frontline expensive compared to prices you can get at the vet with?

Hi, i actually work for petsmart... best products are the ones the vet sales there is no getting around it. You can buy a single dose of k9 advantix at banfield for 15 dollars yes it will only treat your dog for a month but it is way cheaper than buying shampoo that doesn't work. also get a flea comb. Also if you want to bathe your dog the new pet head is amazing we just got it in last week. I bathed my labrador with it last week and he doesn't have that doggy smell anymore.What brands do you recommend for shampoo that i can get at petsmart or petco? and flea products?
Frontline is good. I'm not sure what brands not to use because I have only used frontline and it has always worked.





For a flea killing shampoo, use dawn dish soap if your poodle doesn't have dry skin. If you dog does have sensitive skin get something directly from your vet.





If you are asking about a shampoo just to keep your pup clean and smelling nice, I use this.

It smells really good.
I have used a flea control pill for over a year now. Nothing else worked on my little poodle. Got Comfortis (spinosad) from vet. It is a chewable pill given once a month with food.

don't use any kind of flea bath, dip or collar. If you need flea products go to the vet. They arn;t that expensive! As for normal shampoo get a natural one.
