shampoos dont have to be kosher and neither do beauty products, no matter how strict u are

Rule of thumb: If a dog won't eat it, it's not food, and none of this applies.


Also: If you're not eating it (ingesting by mouth, not swallowing), it's OK.


Exception: Meat/Milk mixtures, but they're aren't really any of those. Also, for Passover, some people check everything.


So just buy kosher toothpaste, and you're fine.
