My hair is so thick, and so greasy. what do i use to make it look good? shampoo? or products? which ones?

Use Fructis Straight and Sleek and wash with ice cold water. Hot water stimulates natural oils, making your hair appear greasy. Fructis will make your hair sleek. You can try Shafique Silk and Shine Hair Therapy. Use the Shampoo and Conditioner. Apply the conditioner and the ends of your hair, NEVER at the roots. Applying conditioner on your roots also makes them appear oily and greasy. My hair is so thick, and so greasy. what do i use to make it look good? shampoo? or products? which ones?
I have thick fine hair that gets greasy fast too. I started using a shampoo for oily hair(I use Infusium). I only use the shampoo on the top part of my hair and scalp. After I rinse this out, I do not use conditioner. I use a spray on treatment(again infusium) instead. I use a conditioning treatment once a week on the ends of my hair(biolage conditioning creme).

I haven't had a problem since I started doing that. My best friend has super thick hair. She got it thinned out and it really makes a difference. My hair is so thick, and so greasy. what do i use to make it look good? shampoo? or products? which ones?
Pantene is pretty good.. Get the one that has conditioner and shampoo.
First, keep it clean. This will help. Use a shampoo for oily hair, and just a simple, light conditioner. Don't wash too much, as the action of washing can stimulate the glands in your head to make more oil.
it could be many reasons. Paul mittchel is what I use. heres what you do.

in the shower:

*apply your shampoo like you always do

*if you put too much conditioner on it makes your hair greasy or if you apply it directly to your scalp and let it sit..it makes it greasy

*so put about a quarter size of conditioner on your and and apply it to the top of your head while standing uder the water...instead of the conditioner sitting up there it is running all down through your head instead!
Use a gentle shampoo, such as Baby. Use liberally. Suds it up one time and rince, that just helps break up the oil. Suds up a second time, wash the hair very well, don't scrub the scalp too hard as that will stimulate the oil glands. Rince very well. Take an ounce of regular white vinegar and rub it in your hair and scalp. Leave it on 1 minute, I know it doesn't smell good, do it anyway. Rinse, and dry hair by pressing the hair with the towel. DON'T RUB the hair, that would stimulate the oil glands. Use as little product as you possibly can. If the ends of your hair are a little dry, when wet take conditioner the size of a pea and apply it to the ends only! I suffered from oily hair for years...This is the only method that worked on a daily basis. You must wash your hair every day, thats why you use a gentle shampoo! If you work all day, wash your hair again before you go to bed. Keep doing this and eventually your hair may get less oily, but it may not. Good Luck!
shompoo.

products will just leave resedue and make it look worse.

try ';sleek look'; shompoo, or any other shampoo made to tame thick hair, if it seems to be too thick and hard to deal with.
There's nothing you can do about it being thick unless you get it thinned. But if your hair is greasy then use Pantene Pro-V Clarifying shampoo and conditioner for oily hair. Also, try not to grease your scalp instead use a moisturizing hair lotion.
it sounds like you are not getting all the products out of your hair when washing it, it needs a good conditioning treatment

no excessive heat in blow drying or straighteners, and only use top name products it might be gunking up at the roots

and of course regular trims or micro trims, make an evening your hair evening and treat it, check your diet as well

hope that helps
i really like tresseme hair products..i use the healthy volume shampoo and i love it. it hasnt ever made my hair greasy or anything like that. but also whenever you have a little bit of grease, just sprinkle some baby powder into your hair and shake it around...that will help hide the oilyness..it really does work. good luck!
Also, try baking soda and/or vinegar. Don't use them together. My friend uses baking soda to scrub her scalp like once a week. Use 1 tablespoon vinegar to 1 cup of water. Use that and see if it helps.
wut u need to use is a clarifying shampoo and a conditiner like thermosilk
