Why are most american made products (ie, shampoo, toothpaste) written in both english and spanish?

Because they are marketed in more than one country, and those people who support the economy by buying what little is produced in the U.S. often speak Spanish. Why are most american made products (ie, shampoo, toothpaste) written in both english and spanish?
Same reason when you call a company you have to push #1 to hear the message in English...we're being taken over!!!Why are most american made products (ie, shampoo, toothpaste) written in both english and spanish?
Same reason yahoo answers has its own site for Spanish speaking Americans, many of the people who live in the US cannot read or speak English.

I live in the NE states and we have a lot of things printed in French to so the manufactures can market the products in Quebec too.
i know it's suck. and the first instruction are in Spanish
'Cause you buy them in the Americas, where those are the main languages.

If you have the blessing to travel to Europe, you see different.
Most of the American population reads and speaks either english or spanish.
So the Mexicans can understand what to do.....
So the illegals don't brush there teeth with shampoo.
Spanish is the first and most spoken language in the world, and the second language spoke in US and, by that, the first non-native language.

It's the companies motivation to be most available to that huge market.

There's also the huge market for American goods in Central and south America markets (who most people speak and read............. true:...... Spanish).
Because an obscenely large percentage of people in the U.S. speak only Spanish.
Funny, where I live they are almost always written in both English and French....not spanish.

It might have to do with where you live.....ie if you live close to the southern boarder, it would be written in Spanish I guess so you could SELL it to you neighbors.
Because they are the two most common languages in America.

Here in Canada it is French and English, though here they are both our official languages.
Are you sure it's Spanish? I live in California, which has a high Latino population and I see more French than Spanish on packaging (because the same things are sold in Canada).

';Taking over'; Oh, give me a break. A LOT of the people here of ';Mexican'; descent have been here longer than the whites.
Because mexicans are all over
