Is there a way I can stop flakes and itchiness in my hair without having to buy any shampoo or hair products?

I have itchy spots on my scalp and then I start getting flakes in my hair. I try to stop itchy but then it irritates me. I had my dad check me for lice but there is none and there are little spots on my scalp that itch. I use the Head %26amp; Shoulders Shampoo and Conditioner but it seems like it doesn't help fast or good enough. when you wash your hair,use cold water instead of hot.the cold water will lock in the moisture instead of washing it out.
Use lemon juice or vinegar when you're washing your hair. It worked for me!
